Color and Light Interiors is owned by Interior Design and Color Consultant Leslie Moore.
Leslie Moore created her business from the philosophy that the most dramatic way to change your interior environments are with color and natural light.
Color and Light Interiors uses color and natural light to make dramatic changes to interiors and create beautiful high fashion rooms, an affordable and economical home improvement solution.
Leslie Moore grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her Interior Designer mother, Alice Neiman Moore, ASID Interior Designer, was her mentor and teacher. Alice Neiman Moore’s love of design grew from her education and profession as an Engineer. Neiman Moore went on to study under Rudolph Shaeffer at the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design in San Francisco known as the “Guru of Color”.
Leslie’s love and passion for design was created from watching her Interior Designer mother work at her drafting board drawing plans with beautiful lines of colors and detail. Samples of fabric, wallpaper, a library of paint colors, books of furniture and accessories, magazines of art were part of her environment growing up. Leslie’s dream and vision of becoming an Interior Designer began at home.
Color and Light Interiors was born in July 2006 three years after her mother’s death. Leslie wanted to take her memories of working together and their mutual love and passion for design which they shared to continue which she is so grateful was passed on to her. It is a gift and a blessing and a dream she feels destined to fulfill.
Leslie’s love of travel, cultures, European and traditional folk art, architecture and nature has influenced her design work and she enjoys working with clients and their eclectic collections of art helping them create interiors with harmony and balance enhancing what has sentimental value to them and which compliment the outdoor beauty of nature which surrounds their living spaces.
Leslie Moore currently resides in Austin, Texas and services the following areas with her Interior Design Services: Austin, Hill Country, Waco, Dallas and Dallas Metroplex, San Antonio, Houston and Gulf Coast.

When were you at the Rudolf Shaeffer School of Design?
I graduated in 1965. It was a great school!
Hello Patsy, my mother was at Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design during the same time as you! Alice Moore does that name bring any memories? I have to find her graduation certificate, however, I think she may have just begun around 1965 and graduated in 1968 or 69, though, can not remember. I have her certificate. She loved the school, too and was very inspired.
