art, nature, culture and color to wear!

For those who love nature and art with a mix of whimsy and color, throw in some culture and you have Zarah Co.jewelry.  Zarah has taken designs from a select group of renowned artists and created a beautiful, unique and artistic line of jewelry.

How I found this wonderful jewelry line is through one of the artists featured by Zarah Co., Sue Coccia.  Sue is a well known artist in Washington state who does intricate designs of animals using her artwork to promote the protection for the habitat of endangered species. I used to represent her artwork in Northern California and it was very successful in the galleries and gift boutiques in which I sold to.  She is now designing a line of jewelry for Zarah Co. and I have her to thank for introducing me to Zarah Co.

Sue has studied indigenous art and uses the symbolism of Native American, Polynesian, aboriginal, and Asian cultures in her art creations. You can see her wonderful style in the Zarah Jewelry collection.

For any of you who are an art, nature, and culture this jewelry collection will fit your style. Seen in many museum gift shops, specialty boutiques, aquariums and wildlife centers in the United States I am looking forward to representing Zarah Co. in Texas.

I am excited to bring to the Texas market a new artist: Audra Holifield what a dynamo!  Audra has so much enthusiasm and love of creating jewelry and it shows. Her designs are very unique. She has created a “Tex-Mex” style using sterling silver shadow boxes, milagros, and embroidered fabric to create her new “Fiesta” Line.  I fell in love with it immediately with its vibrant colors, fun, yet classy look.  You can dress this jewelry up or play it down with a pair of jeans. Here is a glimpse of what she has been creating http://www.holifielddesigns.com These are all retail prices and you are welcome to contact me for either wholesale or retail.  I am looking forward to sharing this beautiful collection with you!

Color the World Project

I recently found out about this wonderful group that is adding color to the world one step at a time!  Seeing color in your environment is a very positive experience and will make you feel alive and add joy to your life.  Many of these color projects are in areas of poverty with run down buildings in grey and beige environments which can feel very depressing and hopeless. If you take a look at what this group is doing in different parts of the world you will see how color can uplift you. I  joined this group hoping that they may find a project here in the United States in which I can help make it more colorful and therefore more beautiful and pleasant to live in. If you know any location in the Austin, Texas area which could benefit from color please let me know.  I will then have to round up some painters (including myself), get a crew together and paint!  A day of painting can be meditative and healing to the soul as well as make where you live more beautiful!

You can follow this group on my blogroll down below by clicking on its link: http://www.letscolourproject.com/blog/
